The ancient Chinese always had a unique feeling for deer, which implied health and love. In ancient times, it was regarded as a divine object, which was believed to bring happiness and longevity. When the ancient people married, the man would give the woman two pieces of deerskin as betrothal gifts to marry a beautiful girl, so it was also regarded as a symbol of love. Deer is also a symbol of wealth. Deer is homophonic to "Lu", which means high-ranking officials and high salaries. Deer is also homophonic to "Lu", which means counting deer and running slowly and smoothly, implying smooth sailing and extending in all directions. The designer uses the sketch technique to embody the implied meaning he wants to express in the mural.
